Tauriel – The Hobbit

In some respects Tauriel was a really odd choice for me as I really didn’t like her character in the films! As a real Tolkien purist I didn’t like how her character changed the story but I Loved the design of the character. I used suedette for the tunic and corset, making the pattern myself! My bow was crafted from PVC pipe bent, wrapped in Worbla and then painted. The lace front wig I wear with this is my favourite wig or all time and it makes a change to not be doing another black haired character!
